The Perfect Pregnancy Weight

by

Putting on weight during your pregnancy is unavoidable, but that doesn’t mean that you have to dread it! Weight gain throughout your pregnancy does not have to be a nightmare in disguise, waiting to creep on you after the baby is born. From a beautiful natural glow, to a chest that would make Pamela Anderson envious, pregnancy leads to many positive attributes as well. Weight gain does not have to become a huge vice associated with having a child any longer. Gaining an ample amount of weight throughout pregnancy is crucial for the growth and development of the fetus.

Studies conducted have shown that mother’s who did not gain enough weight during pregnancy gave birth to premature or underweight babies. This also put the babies at risk for various health complications such as breathing issues due to poor lung development, heart issues, and even digestive troubles. These can all be associated to poor development due to lack of nutrition. During pregnancy, feeding yourself the proper nutrients is crucial. The extra food is stored as fat, later to be used to provide nutritional content for the fetus. Without this extra nutrition the baby suffers and you do as well. Throughout pregnancy, you will find yourself craving the strangest of things. Your hormones will be going wild, making the strangest foods seem appetizing, while some unbearable to be around. You can blame all of your extra baby weight gain on those pesky hormones!!! This is not the time to feel guilty about indulging your cravings.

One of the greatest positives during the first trimester is the new curvaceous body you will acquire! Your chest will begin to go up in at least a cup size or two, which is wonderful news for ladies out there who have been dying to have some cleavage. Your hips and bottom will also begin to curve out as well, giving you a figure to die for! In the end, this weight gain does not have to be something that sticks with you for the rest of your life. If you eat properly throughout your pregnancy you will find yourself putting on just the perfect amount of weight. After you give birth, you’ll also find that you’ve dropped at least 10 or so pounds. From the baby to the loss of all the amniotic fluids and water retention, you will immediately feel pounds lighter! With ample exercise and proper nutrition, your pregnancy weight gain fear can be a thing of the past!
